Welcome to ToxGenie, a desktop application for toxicology statistical analysis. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ToxGenie and related services provided by ToxGenie (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using ToxGenie, purchasing a license, or downloading the software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ToxGenie solely for your personal, academic, research, or institutional purposes, subject to these Terms.

Licenses are issued on an annual basis. Renewal requires a new license code purchase.

You may not sublicense, resell, share, or distribute your license code without prior written consent.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use ToxGenie.

By purchasing and using ToxGenie, you represent that you are a graduate student, government researcher, academic professional, or institutional researcher, or otherwise engaged in toxicological research or related work.

After purchase, you will receive a license code via the email address you provide at checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that your email address is accurate and accessible.

If you lose access to your license code, contact us at toxgenie@toxgenie.com.

To verify your eligibility (e.g., as a student affiliated with a university, a government researcher, or a professional working in an accredited GLP testing facility), you must use your official institutional or organizational email address when making a purchase. The use of personal (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com) or purely commercial email addresses is not permitted. Failure to provide a valid institutional email may result in the suspension or cancellation of your license.

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the software.

Circumvent or disable license validation systems.

Use the software for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable regulations.

Share license codes with third parties.

ToxGenie, including its software code, design, and documentation, is owned by ToxGenie and protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred to you through the purchase of a license.

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Pricing is subject to change. Any changes will not affect licenses already purchased.

Taxes, including VAT or local sales taxes, may be applied depending on your jurisdiction.

During your active license period, you may receive software updates, bug fixes, and security patches.

Technical support is provided via our official support channels.

We are not obligated to provide support after your license has expired.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must cease using the software and uninstall it from your devices.

ToxGenie is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific needs.

Use of ToxGenie is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ToxGenie.

Our total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount paid for your license during the past 12 months.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the validity, interpretation, performance, or termination thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court in the Republic of Korea.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of ToxGenie constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
