What is the difference between the Academic and Professional plans?
While both plans provide identical access to ToxGenie’s core toxicology analysis and report generation features, the Professional plan includes exclusive regulatory compliance tools and expert support.
- The Academic Plan is offered at a heavily discounted rate to support university researchers and students. It provides all the statistical power needed for academic publishing. (Note: Users must provide a valid .edu or .ac email address to qualify).
- The Professional Plan is required for commercial companies, government agencies, CROs, and GLP-compliant studies. Because regulatory submissions require strict documentation, this plan exclusively includes:
- The GLP Validation Kit: Ready-to-sign CSV documentation (Declaration of Conformity, IQ/OQ Protocols, and Data Integrity Statement) to satisfy OECD, US EPA, and FDA requirements.
- Priority Expert Support: Guidance from a toxicologist with 30+ years of experience to help defend your statistical rationale during audits.
Who qualifies as a student?
We offer academic subscription licenses to all currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, as well as post doctoral fellows. The email address for receiving the license code must be a academic institution email, and you must register with a university email address when signing up.
Note: Installation may not possible if the registered email differs from the email used for installation. Users may also be required to submit proof of student status.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?
Yes. ToxGenie offers a full-featured 30-day free trial with no credit card required. You get access to all features with no restrictions. At the end of 30 days you can subscribe or let the trial expire — no charges either way.
Is group or institution pricing available?
Yes. Group pricing is available for research labs, GLP facilities, and academic institutions with 3 or more users. Contact us to discuss a custom plan with centralized billing, team management, and volume discounts.
What happens if I get a new computer?
If you get a new computer, log in to your account to download and install ToxGenie Free Trial on your new computer, then contact toxgenie@toxgenie.com to receive a new license code for installation.
How do I properly cite ToxGenie in my publication?
